Our thanks goes out to Cindy Warner of the San Francisco Examiner for her mention of Rudy’s Can’t Fail Cafe in her piece about Diana Krall who played at the Fox Theater Saturday April 12th. In case the irony doesn’t come across, Cindy assured us her date actually thought the service was “great” when they ventured to Rudy’s Oakland location for a pre-show bite to eat. Check out the full review here.

Enjoy Rudy’s full bar and scrumptious newly expanded menu right next door!
The release party for Rudy’s new beer, Can’t Fail Ale, was a grand success according to party goers last Thursday. “It’s a winner with me!” exclaimed beer garden aficionado Michael C. When pressed to elaborate, or in his words “put on my amateur beer critic hat” Michael gave his all: “Sunset amber ale with a creamy yet light white head and a smooth toasty malt caramel-hint flavor. Just the right amount of carbonation to make it equally good for sipping, accompanying BBQ or just plain chugging! I wouldn’t mind a keg of this at home!” We agree. Come on down to either of our locations to try a pint of Can’t Fail Ale and check out our new expanded menu too!
